Seeing couples on television who have been married for decades is something that might give hope to people who are in a difficult marriage. It is always a sad day when you hear about these couples calling it quits, but that is the nature of life sometimes. Florida residents might find the recent divorce petition from Kris Jenner rather interesting.

To many people, the Kardashian and Jenner family on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” seems like a family with a lot of love and a lot of drama. The family’s seeming love for drama might be one reason why some people find the news of the divorce petition shocking. It seems as though Kris and Bruce Jenner were able to work out the terms of their divorce, according to the US Magazine. It seems as though the divorce won’t drag family drama more into the spotlight than what it already was.

In her divorce filing, which comes almost a year after the couple separated, Kris cites irreconcilable differences. Bruce Jenner filed an answer that shows the two are on the same page about the divorce. Nobody will get spousal support. The couple will share custody of their 17-year-old daughter, who is the only minor child they have. The couples other daughter and Kris’ children who appear on the show are all adults.

Almost anyone who is going through a divorce can take away something from the dissolution of this 22-year marriage. The couple chose to work together to come to an agreement about how to divide their property and raise their child. Other people going through a divorce can do this while working to ensure their interests are protected.
